English
English plays a central role in our educational program, integrated across all subjects from the earliest grades. Our communicative approach allows students to develop language skills progressively and naturally, fostering comprehension, oral and written expression, and interaction in real-world contexts. Thanks to an active and participatory methodology, our students acquire the necessary tools to navigate an increasingly globalized world with confidence, opening doors to academic, cultural, and professional opportunities.

Since 2005, Farmland School Curacaví has run an outstanding international exchange program, initiated by Miss Soledad Cornejo along with her daughters Soledad and Daniela Prado, and student Daniela González. The first exchange took place with Rangitoto College in Auckland, New Zealand, marking the beginning of a valuable educational experience for our students. During that first trip, our students joined local schools such as Brown’s Bay Primary School and Rangitoto College, while Miss Soledad assisted in Spanish classes for high school students. Simultaneously, she established connections with other New Zealand educational institutions, laying the foundation for the current successful program. Today, this program allows us to send and receive up to 14 students per year, fostering cultural exchange and improving English language skills in real-world, immersive contexts. In 2013, Miss Soledad made another visit to New Zealand, expanding the network of partner schools and opening new opportunities for our students. Currently, we are working on expanding the program to other countries, including Germany. A distinctive feature of our program is its affordability. Unlike other institutions where exchanges can cost between CLP 6,000,000 and CLP 9,000,000, at Farmland School the program is free for selected students, who only need to cover airfare and personal expenses. This scholarship is awarded to students who excel not only academically but also in their values, responsibility, and commitment. They embody the spirit of Farmland School Curacaví and act as ambassadors for our educational community around the world.

Ciencias Aplicadas
Our Applied Sciences program is built on three pillars: sustainability, agroecology, and biodiversity. Through interdisciplinary projects, students address current environmental challenges with practical and innovative solutions. We promote an understanding of the natural environment and respect for ecosystems, encouraging sustainable and responsible agricultural practices. Our teaching is geared toward developing citizens prepared to face the challenges of the present and committed to a more balanced future.

The music workshop at Farmland School aims for more than just artistic development: it fosters collaboration, cultural awareness, and the holistic development of students. Through creative experiences, students strengthen their auditory, motor, and social skills, enjoying a dynamic and enriching learning environment.

Theater
Since 1995, theater has been an essential part of Farmland School Curacaví's educational project. This discipline enhances oral expression, body language, creativity, and self-confidence, strengthening fluency in both English and Spanish. The activity includes all levels—from Preschool through 12th grade—and culminates each year with a performance open to the community. Students actively participate in the creation of sets, props, and staging, integrating knowledge from art, technology, and computer science. We also highlight the valuable commitment of families in making costumes, enriching each production with dedication and creativity.

Field hockey has been our school's flagship sport for over a decade. Despite having a smaller student body than other schools, our teams have achieved outstanding results in local and regional tournaments, especially in Curacaví and Viña del Mar. This achievement reaffirms our belief: every student possesses unique potential that can be developed with motivation, effort, and the constant support of the school and family environment.
